Afterwards, feel free to stick around for the meat raffle (drawn at 3pm) or the live music from 3pm-6pm, and enjoy the sunset in good company at this beautiful location.
If Dad is more after the classic steak, beer and chips, it’s hard to go wrong with Bar Lettera in North Sydney. They’re offering a Father’s Day Lunch from 12pm - 3pm which includes 90 minutes of non-stop, ‘bottomless’ Westholme F1 Wagyu beef striploin Bone in MBS4+ and ‘bottomless’ oregano-salted shoe string fries along with a complimentary beer for a set price of $69 per person.
They also provide pescatarian and vegetarian options for the same price, and kids options for $29 each.

Located near Milsons Point, St Leonards Park and the Sydney Harbour, Bar Lettera is only a short distance from some beautiful walks and views and is a great choice for Fathers Day.
Blues Point Reserve is an excellent Father’s Day destination if you’re looking for somewhere with spectacular classic views and scenery of Sydney’s most iconic landmarks, and a relaxing place for a picnic under a beautiful fig tree.
Just a short five-minute walk from McMahons Point Ferry, you could make the ferry part of the experience itself, providing wonderful scenery on your way to Blues Point Reserve.
A great place for young children with its fenced maritime-themed playground, and close to the Blues Point Hotel, if Dad would rather book a feed than have a picnic, or grab a drink to quench his thirst.

A beautiful, unusual and atmospheric garden tucked into the hillside above Lavendar Bay right near Sydney’s Harbour Bridge, Wendy Whitely’s Secret Garden is a worthwhile and relaxing destination to bring Dad as part of Father’s Day.
This wonderfully organic garden is a lovely spectacle of winding pathways, hidden corners, garden rooms and sculptures while encountering pretty flowers, palms, ferns, native plants, art, hidden seating areas, trees, native birds and unexpected views of Sydney Harbour.
If Dad enjoys beautiful walks and a bit of history in unusual locations, Wendy’s Garden is an excellent choice.
Best combined with other locations in order to make a full day of it, and you will have to go elsewhere to grab a bite to eat.
Combining Australian and international wildlife with conservation, education and extraordinary views, Taronga Zoo is one of the most all-round attractions this Father’s Day.
Great for a more casual day out, especially with younger families, Taronga Zoo can provide a nice, casual lunch while Dad and the family explore the variety of unique and wonderful animals along with beautiful walks and educational presentations, or the Wild Ropes course for the more adventurous.
For those new to the Zoo, we would recommend allotting a full day out towards it as there is a lot to see and do, especially for younger families.
Located right next to the aforementioned Secret Garden and Luna Park, the Lavender Bay Parklands are a beautiful location for picnics and walks around the harbour surrounded by lawns, gardens, mature trees and harbour views.
A worthwhile visit as part of seeing Wendy Whitely’s Secret Garden given their close proximity, the Parklands are yet another wonderful place for a more relaxing and nature-filled Father’s Day.
